Built by Finance People, For Finance People

We started evolveappsystem in 2019 because we kept seeing the same problem. Smart analysts stuck using outdated methods, brilliant professionals working with tools that slowed them down instead of helping them move faster.

Where We Came From

Picture this: Three former corporate finance managers sitting in a Bangkok coffee shop, venting about training programs that missed the mark. We'd all come from different sectors but kept bumping into identical frustrations.

The programs out there? They either went way too technical without context, or stayed so surface-level they were practically useless. Nothing addressed the actual day-to-day challenges analysts face when markets shift, when spreadsheets break, when executives ask questions you weren't prepared for.

So we built something different. Our approach isn't about memorizing formulas or sitting through lectures that put you to sleep. We focus on practical application because that's what actually matters when you're on the job.

Since 2019, we've worked with over 240 analysts across Thailand and Southeast Asia. Each program we run gets refined based on what participants tell us worked and what didn't.

What Actually Drives Our Work

These aren't just words we put on the website. They're the principles that guide every decision we make about curriculum, teaching methods, and how we support participants.

01

Real-World First

Every case study comes from actual corporate scenarios we've encountered. No made-up examples that fall apart when you try to apply them. We teach methods that hold up when things get messy, because in finance, things always get messy.

02

Honest About Complexity

Finance is complicated. We don't pretend otherwise or promise quick fixes. But we can break down complex concepts into manageable pieces you can actually work with. Understanding takes time, and that's completely normal.

03

Continuous Adaptation

Markets change. Regulations shift. New tools emerge. Our curriculum evolves because standing still means falling behind. We update content based on current trends and feedback from working analysts who tell us what they need.

How Our Training Actually Works

1 Foundation Assessment

We start by figuring out where you actually are, not where some standard curriculum thinks you should be. Everyone comes in with different experience levels and knowledge gaps. No point teaching basics you already know or skipping fundamentals you haven't covered yet.

2 Scenario-Based Learning

You work through real financial situations that mirror what analysts encounter. Market volatility cases, restructuring scenarios, valuation challenges with incomplete data. The kind of problems that don't have neat textbook answers but need solid analytical thinking.

3 Structured Practice

Theory means nothing without application. Each concept gets practiced repeatedly with increasing complexity until it becomes second nature. We provide detailed feedback on your analytical approach, not just whether you got the right number.

4 Long-Term Support

Learning doesn't stop when the program ends. Participants get ongoing access to updated materials, quarterly workshops on emerging topics, and a network of fellow analysts who understand the challenges you're working through.

Meet One of Our Program Directors

Our team includes former corporate finance managers, credit analysts, and financial planning professionals who bring decades of combined experience to every program we run.

Professional finance educator and program director

Kieran Whitmore

Senior Program Director

Kieran spent twelve years in corporate finance roles before joining our team in 2021. He led financial planning for a regional manufacturing group, worked through two major restructurings, and managed analyst teams across three countries.

What he brings to our programs is that practical perspective you can't get from academic backgrounds alone. He knows what it feels like when your models break, when assumptions prove wrong, when you need to explain complex analysis to executives who want simple answers.

His teaching style is straightforward and patient. He doesn't pretend finance is easy, but he makes it accessible through clear explanations and relevant examples from his own experience.
